Bantams in Nursing Homes

I know I saw someone was making diapers!


We wanted our Bantams to be able to bring them in nursing homes to visit with the residents who are not bed ridden! ((a friend used to do this with baby lambs & I went a few times everyone loves it)) I would like to start this after the New Year!

I also thought this would be a good addition to our school year

Just a thought for the other home-schoolers I've seen here


So I am not sure if I have to wait till full grown? or if one size fits all???

I am not sure about the diaper thing. But I think it sounds like a wonderful thing to do. I never knew how soft chickens were till I got some of my own. Yeah to you!!

What a wonderful idea! I took one of my dominques to the elem school this week and the kids were enraptured with the chicken.

She was a very good chicken girl too - they all petted her. Might be the only time in their whole lives they see a real 'live' chicken up close instead of on their plates.

Anyway, I'm sure the residents would love a visit from your chickens! Let us know how the project goes.
