My sweet little bantams have been laying GIANT eggs I mean giant! Some times I go out to check on them and one of them is waddling around the coop with an egg stuck in her butt. She finally lays it on the ground. What can I do to help them? Should I give them more calcium?

What breed are your bantams and what exactly do you feed including all treats etc.?

What is the protein percentage on the feed bag? What kind of scratch do you feed? And of course, how much do these eggs weigh to be considered giant?

I feed them 16 percent layer pellets and their scratch has like 7 different types of seeds. When they first started to lay their eggs where much smaller than our chicken eggs but now they are almost as big as the chicken eggs! They have been laying for about two months.

Depending on the kind of seeds, this just might be the reason.

Did you weigh the eggs yet? And the bantams?

A picture might help as well.
