Anyways can I just vent here? I keep my pullets in a secure pen but I wanted to pick some to show so put 3 in a cage in the coop to look at and afterwards there were 2 one had disappeared. I had to pick the two that didn’t disappear. Then I was washing them so I put them in a cage to dry with the others on the lawn and then I came back hours later and poof! Gone! I saw one in the shed and caught it. After much worrying I found the other.
Then a few days later who is to emerge but the one I actually intended to catch. The one who had disappeared into the shed days earlier was the one I caught first.
