Bantie eggs and standard eggs?

    I am wondering if you can put bantie eggs and standard sized eggs under the same broody if you have them both at once, or would this compromise the hatch of either or both.

    i had a rir that went broody with nothing under her. i put banty eggs under her and she has been doing great. she is due to hatch monday.

    Yes they will both hatch, I have had hens hatch out Turkey and Guineas at the same time. [​IMG]

    Depends on the hen. My overall experience with giving them two different sized eggs has not been good. A few did OK, but with most of them the smaller eggs did not hatch well.
