Bantom Orpinton or Bantam Cochin?

Which of these two breeds would make the best pet for first time chicken owner, looking for a quiet flock in limited space and produce a few eggs from time to time? Other breeds I'm over looking?

I've got a banty cochin and she's an OK bird. We didn't raise her, though, so I think her temperament could have been better had she been raised from chick-hood. Our standard cochin chick is shaping up to be a total sweetie, and our "tween" BO (also standard) is a very nice bird.
