I used to have a banty. She was awesome. Her name Junior, and she was a Barred Rock. On January 4th, my friend I walked into my hens' coop, and found her dead by the feeder with a broken neck. I was heartbroken, and so were my hens. I would really love to have another bantam, but I know that it would be hard on the chicken since they would be small on top of being in a new flock. Maybe in my next life.

She is a beauty! I have eight bantys. They are so charming. Each one has a different personality! Junior is so pretty!

this is my lavender pekin at about 4 weeks old

I used to have a little banty named Ellen, but I called her Elly. She was so sweet! She followed me around. She even went to sleep in my arms one time. I loved her so much! She made cute little squeaking sounds, too! She was my favorite hen. Sadly, one morning I went to feed Elly and my other two chickens and Elly was gone. Something had pulled her out of the chain link cage we kept her and my two other chickens in. Now, I have eight bantys and two guineas that live in a coop, a coop safe from predators. I also have six Golden Comets.

I will have to take new pics, as she is 6 weeks now and seems to have ballooned over nite lol

Thank you!! Her tail was really a bunch of rumpled feathers until she molted-- then she had a nice tail. But she only had it for about a week or so before she died.
