Banty sick**Help!!!!!!!!!!* *bangs head on steel*

Right...errr...remind me what a comb is?

I'm pretty sure she's a banty. She doesn't have feathered legs. I'll post a few more pics. Hoepfully I did a better job with these.

I'll look tomorrow and see if there are any worthy details on the comb.

Here are some (hopefully better) pictures:

what I see as possibilities...
white cornish (pea comb, row of small bumps)
japanese(suppose to have short legs, can't tell from pic)
white old english game bantam(single comb, looks serrated like a steakknife, only smaller)
White Leghorn Bantam(also single comb)

my money is on a white OEGB

Your photos are too close...or maybe you have a finger print on the lens??? still pretty blurry

I know my kiddos put finger prints on my lens all the time, and my first clue is blurry photos...or if I get too close on my subject...

We have a new problem now. The little chick doesn't look like she has many feathers under her. It may be because their litter got wet(I'm about to change it), but I'm not sure. She seems okay other than that. Her feathers feel kind of crusty, like they got wet and then dried. Her other eye seems a little weird, but the one that was weird yesterday seems fine. I've separated her from the other chicks and put her in a closed box. (I pocked at least 30 holes in it with a pen so she could breathe.)

One trick for clear up close shots is to stand farther back and zoom in. If you try to get close it just blurs. Where is the crusty fluff? Is it on its backside? Underside? Separating the little chick is good but the box if closed is not good unless the holes are at least the size of quarters and make sure it has food and water. Maybe try again for pics, sometimes they will keep an eye or both closed if they are sick.

The crusty sort of fluff is all over her. All of the chicks have it, I think. I'm pretty sure it's because their litter is wet and I need to go change it. The mising feathers are on the underside.

Definitely not a sebright. Not sure what kind though - photos too blurry and doesn't look like any of the bantams I am raising right now. Maybe wait a week or two and it will be easier to tell what she is? I don't think the feather thing sounds too serious? I'm assuming she is under a heat lamp?
