Bantys not laying since my roo died

I have 2 banty hens that are are all most 2 years old. Last september my roo died and they have not laid an egg since. When the one hen was broody late last spring the roo every seldom left her side and about a week before they were due to hatch i seperated them and he sat next to the wire that seperated them to be close to her. After she hatched one chick (turned out to be a hen) and it was big enough i put them all together and they did just fine then he died and now no eggs for 5 months. I know the short days and cold will effect thier laying but they guit laying when it was sunny and still warm. They do get plenty of light and i keep a heat lamp in there for them.
