Barbie is a barred Serama pullet. She was hatched in mid January, and is starting to redden in the face, indicating she will soon be laying. Her father is a barred bird from Jerry, and the mother is a typey buff/dun colored hen. She is not black. It is more of a chocolate color, be that dun or chocolate, I don't know. Her back is a bit long, but is certainly worth breeding given her rare coloration, and the fact that barred females can be used to create sex linked chicks.
Shipping will be billed at the actual price, including box price. 2-3 birds can fit in one box if you win multiple auctions of mine or of "whisiwasjane's" auctions. We breed Seramas together, and live near each other. Local pickup is also welcomed. I will also be at the Eastern PA chickenstock on May 15 and can deliver birds at that time.
