Bare Backed Hens

What can I do for them? What should I put on their skin before putting on a saddle? I have been making saddles for them.

How many hens and roosters do you have together?

You might want to try Dr. Naylor's Blu Kote, but make sure you wear gloves and old clothing before you do so as it stains like nothing else!

This might be a combination of roosters being rough and mites and or lice.
I'd treat the flock and COOP with permethrin spray.
