Bare spot on neck

I've got an 10 mo old black giant hen with a larcge bare spot on the back of her neck, otherwise healthy layer. The skin is really rough and dry, the folickes have either fallen out are are otherwise frayed and look not good. Thoughts, possibilities?

If you have a roo in with her then he is grabbing her neck feathers to help mount her and ends up pulling some out.

Also check to see if you see any tiny white lice attached to the feather shafts. If so you will need to treat your birds for lice/mites.
