Bare stripe on chick's underside, any info or suggestions?

She is probably the runt of the group. The reason she has a bare spot is because she is sitting down all the time. I would but her in a seperate area so she can heal FULLY. when she's done she can then be placed back and most likely not be picked on again.

If she is acting normal I would not separate her. It's only going to stress her out and she needs her buddies to cuddle with

I would only separate her if you notice all the others pecking at her. Good luck and I hope tomorrow she is still poo free

Yeah, she doesn't seem to be picked-on. She also doesn't seem to be sitting down any more than any of the others. Last night I found a small bug and tossed it in there to see what they'd do with it, and she's the one that ended up getting to eat it after a long game of keep-away. Anyway, despite the funny appearance of her underside, she seems to be doing fine, and has quit pasting up.

Yay! Good to hear

The pasting doesn't last long but sure is a pain to try to clean it up every day not to mention not so fun for them. I love watching the game of keep away. I used to toss tiny worms in there for mine after a few weeks and they just loved it. She sounds just fine though. She will prob end up being the boss of the crew

Thanks for keeping us informed and hope she continues to thrive
