Barnevelder? Hen or Roo???

I have 8 chickens that were bought as chicks mid-March. These 2 were SUPPOSED to be Barnevelder hens... the 3rd one I will post I believe IS a Barnevelder hen, which was in the "mixed chicks bin". I am HOPING I got all hens, I am really somewhat ambivalent about breeds, but really wanted all hens
.This is the one from MIXED BREEDS that I believe to be a barnvelder hen.

The 2 below look identical, and they are supposed to be Barnvelder hens...

The first is a Barnevelder hen. The other two are Brown Leghorn hens.

Your first bird is a Barnie hen---they're so pretty!

The next birds are brown Leghorn pullets. they'll flood you in nice white eggs once they hit their laying strides.

AWESOME! I was just really hoping for hens. I am so in my learning curve here. I am consistently getting 1 white egg a day, no clue which chicken is laying... none seem broody.

Broody hens don't lay eggs, they just sit on them.

Thank you all for your help! I am learning and reading more and more. Consistently getting 1 white egg a day at this point. Have 8 hens, 4 will lay brown. No clue who is laying!
