I had a chick recently hatch from a barnevelder hen and a true black ameraucana! Does any one have any clue what it will end up looking like?

Barnevelders are eb at the e locus, Black Ameraucanas are Extended Black E/E, so the chick should be E/eb with Black chick down with white underbelly...… Yet that chick looks eb/eb?(perhaps the color on the picture is off or with yellow tint) the chick color seem off or the True Black Rooster is hiding eb under the black

He is a black ameraucana all of his chicks have been black other than a few blues when bred to a blue ameraucana which is typical. The chick looks to be a blue no yellow tint to it I’m guessing that part is the lighting. The rooster is from show lines so I know he is pure especially with all of his chicks coming out black.

I’m really not sure where the blue came from 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ I was just more asking if the chick would end up being solid or if it would end up with lacing. The blue I’m guessing came from the dad since true black ameraucanas can come from two blue parents or a blue and a black parent

The blue could not have come from him. He is black and does not have blue.
