Wanted to share some of my babies I hatched out. I have no idea what any of them are and thought it would be fun to guess some genetics. Bought the eggs at a local country store so no info and these babies. But I have some cuties on my hands (literally). Also any guesses on gender based off of wings?

There names in order of photos.

Milkshake

To wing sex a chick you need to know the specific genetics of both parents. The father has to have the recessive fast feathering gene and the mother the dominant slow feathering. You don't know that so you can't use it.

I'm noy going to try to guess breed either. You can go to any hatchery website and find several chicks that could look like any of them. And, as you said, they are likely mixes anyway.

To mew, they look great. Best of luck!
