I know it’s early. Just curious what others think. These are from eggs I got from a friend. No idea what breeds they’re mixed with. I’m pretty certain the orange and black one is a boy. It’s much larger than the others (I have 5 others from a hatchery order that hatched the day after these 3 babies) and way too much comb and wattle for a girl at this age. The black one has me leaning cockerel as well based off size, redness and behavior. The yellow lighter one seems more pullet to me. Any opinions?

I see 3 cockerels. Possibly 4.

The one in the first 2 pictures is a cockerel. Also, I think the brownish red one in the background of those photos is a cockerel. The black one with the copper coloring around the neck looks like a cockerel.

The light colored one in the last 2 pics is a maybe for me.

The one in the background of the first photo is a sexed Rhode Island Red from Meyer Hatchery. I was suspicious but I looked at photos of my adult Rhode Island when she was the same age and she looked very similar so I’m hopefully it’s a pullet

Confirmed that the orange colored one in the first photo is a cockerel. He gave me a puny little crow yesterday morning.

The black one has me fully leaning cockerel. He’s growing a beard like an Easter egger and his pea comb is very red. Also he’s super aggressive towards the other cockerel. They fight often.
