I have four birds, hatched 12.07 as part of my long term breeding project. They are mutts, and this community decided in a prior post that the sire is a mutt as well. Hens are either Dark Brahma, Golden Comets (a hybrid), CornishX (another hybrid), or Hoover's "Rainbows", which to my mind are... mutts. No easy sex links here, though I have baby photos, too.

I will eventually figure out the "breed" of the moms by the combs, and perhaps some hint of coloration and already have some solid clues. Its gendering that gives me pause.

A neighbor up the road would like to take two cockerels off my hands, if I have them. Of the four birds in this hatching, only one I plan to keep for breeding, so if the others are cockerels... But if its too soon, its too soon, and I won't waste the community's time with my rather embarrassing photographic efforts.

What do you think???

My guess is that this is a Cockerel as well, but I'm less confident in that then I am on thing three. Pointing of the tail feathers is a bit less pronounced, but this bird is putting on weight faster than Thing 1 or Thing 2 by a substantial margin, and seems to be a bit taller in the saddle in terms of posture. How wrong am I?
