Today, I put a Barred Rock rooster in with my Buff Naked Neck. I know that if I hatch chicks, they will be Naked Necks,( Mother is homozygous NN) but what feather patterens will I get. Earlier this year, I bred her with my RIR, and got Red Naked Necks. I am so happy with what they turned out to look like so far. So, will I end up with barred NN, and Is the Buff gene recessive?
