Barred bantam Cochins

just a quick question on coloring. I just picked one of these up last weekend. I wasn’t really paying attention at the time when I was grabbing chicks. Once I made it to the car I was looking and the chick has a head dot and faint barring on the wings.
Do these follow the general rule of darker females and lighter males?

I can get pics just shortly. I picked them up last Sunday so I’ve had it exactly a week, although it was a little older already.

As far as I know all barred or cuckoo breeds do follow the double white barring on males rule.

Thank you! I thought so but wasn’t 100% sure as I’ve never seen them around here. They were supposed to go to a long time broody girl. But she broke when I moved her to a quieter place.

She looks dark to me too which makes me happy because the frizzle is looking like a boy!
