I originally thought one boy and one girls but now I see the red wattle starting. One always had longer wing feathers and was larger than the other...thoughts as to sex?
Thanks

I'm positive the one on the left is a cockerel. The one on the right is a little bit harder to tell because the right one does have a smaller comb and a smaller tail. So there's still hope for it to still turn out to be a pullet.

I've noticed that you've had a couple more of these threads with most of the birds that I saw looked like cockerels. Are you able to keep rooster's where you live?

No, I am not able to keep them. You are welcome to any roosters! I really want to find them a great home. I need more land for a bachelor pad!

I agree with Twistedfeather. Even though the comb of the one on the left is smaller, I'm somewhat concerned about the redness of it at only 4 weeks. I would post another pic of your birds in about a month. By then their gender should be very obvious.

Seeing the new pic, I feel certain both of them are cockerels. Not just on account of the combs, but the barring looks light in the pic to me, which is indicative of a cockerels. Pullets typically have darker barring.

Rats! I really liked that kind of chicken. I actually just found one of them a home. You don't need another photo to be sure, do you? Do have any idea why one would be larger than the other. They were hatched on the same day. Even their feathers came in differently and different lengths. Thanks
