Barred Plymouth Rock sexing my white spot on head

Is this an actual thing? One of my Newly hatched chicks looks like it’s got stripes on head and the other almost a full head f white uff y idea boys or girls ?

You can only sex by head spot and leg color in breeder quality, carefully controlled lines, for Barred Rock.

Hatchery quality are completely in accurate.

It should be larger head spot for males (showing the double barring) and smaller, or more diffused, head spot for females.

But again, hatchery quality Barred Rock are completely inaccurate.

No guesses here by head spots. Watch combs instead. Males will get noticeably bigger, redder, sooner. You should have a good guess by 6 weeks. Certainty by 12 weeks.
