Hi All, any guesses on these 2 barred Plymouth rocks? I hatched them two weeks ago and they have been keeping me guessing.

Its to early to guess,you can only really tell when they are 6-8 weeks old, post a picture then, it will be fun to see how they grow up!

It's too early to tell. As @Chickenlover151 said, you should post some pics when they are 6-8 weeks old

My educated guesses are based on the barring. I will be very surprised if Raven is not a pullet.

I believe the first guess is correct. Raven is a girl and Rocky a boy. There is a way to tell when they are new little chicks based upon the white headspot and leg wash. However, I am not a BR expert.

These are mine at 6 weeks old. He just started showing signs he was a rooster about a week ago. You could definitely tell he was lighter colored than the others since we got them.
