Hoping to appeal to the collective wisdom of this group to ID the breed (and sex?) of one of my 4 wk old chicks... I have a group of 6 sexed pullets from Meyer, including 2 Dominiques, 2 Easter Eggers, and 2 "assorted" brown layers. I've pegged the Easter Eggers and one of the "assorted" who is pretty obviously a RIR. But I'm looking for help on the other "assorted" chick, since I have 3 chicks with some kind of barring. Two look more similar - same size, more scattered barring pattern, well-developed tail feathers - and I'm guessing they're the Dominiques. The third barred chick is a bit smaller than all the other 5 chicks, with very few tail feathers and more distinct/even barring than the other 2 barred ones. She is feathering out more slowly than everyone else, too. I'm guessing she's a Barred Rock, although I've wondered if Cuckoo Marans is a possibility. Her legs aren't as yellow as the Dominiques, but they aren't pink either. Any guesses on breed or sex? This is my first flock of chickens, so I've zero experience to draw from. Thank you!

2 Doms, 2 EEs, one RSL, one BR.

RSL means res sex link. It's a hybrid bird bred for laying lots of eggs.
Thank you for clarifying - I'm not up on all the shorthand, lol. I'd have thought her coloring a little dark to be Meyer's version of a red sex link (Golden Buff), but since they apparently come from Rhode Island Red stock, it'd make sense. Looking forward to seeing how they develop!
