Barred Rock 5 weeks - Gender?........

The photos arent the best. I have 1 BR, making me say "hmmm". They are just about 5 weeks. Everything says hen but her comb has slightly changed color this week. I will try to get a clearer photo. Just looking for educated guesses:

Tricky..still kind of looking like a pullet to me, but I don't have a great deal of experience with BRs. I know they can be hard to sex, especially young.

Hi. If its a purebred its def a pullet... The cockeralls are lighter in colour

I just raised a dozen of these for my mother in law... a few went pick earlier than others but they all turned out to be pullets. I think it would be RED if it was a cockerel. Keep an eye on it and by 8 weeks you will be more sure. my two are 11.5 weeks and they are just getting red faces.
