Barred Rock 6 weeks **pics**

Feed store barred rock (hatchery stock). This chick was very small but I choose it as I needed a chick to graft to a broody. The chick has thrived with it's Mama and is very shy and quiet. Any thoughts on gender?

Looks like a girl by color, comb is rather large but isn't red(or pink) yet.

I'm guessing pullet because the feathers are darker and the comb is not very big nor do I see any wattles.

pullet the color is dark like a barred rock pullets should be
