Barred Rock a roo?

This is our 8 week old Barred Rock. He seems to be showing a rooster attitude, so we are curious to know what you guys think. He bites us when he doesn't want to be touched and bumps chests with all the other chickens even if they are twice his size. He also has a black stripe down the front of his legs which I read somewhere is indicative of a roo.
Is he still too young to make a determination or is it really obvious to those of you "in the know?"

definitely a roo- here is ours about the same age- ours is friendly, but on his terms- he doesn't mind being petted, but not excessive- after all, it is embarassing in front of the girls!LOL!
