Does anybody have any pictures or an idea of what a barred rock and Rhode Island Red mix would look like?

RIR rooster over BR hen gets a great dual purpose black sex link! Cross the other way and it's not as predictable.

Depends which is the male and which is the female.
Red rooster over barred hen gives sex link offspring. Barred males, solid females.
Barred rooster over red hen will give all barred offspring, in reds and blacks. Here's one of my hens from this cross

She hatched on Memorial Day weekend '13. I believe she's laying but not sure what color egg.
