barred rock bantams

I was wanting to see if anyone raises these birds and could fill me in alil on them. I recently bought a hen and rooster. The hen is laying just not setting is this a problem in this breed?

mine do not sit either, i read somewhere that they sometimes might , but it has been bred out of them, but maybe someone can tell you more

I have two hens. They started laying this Spring and no sign of broodiness so far.
