Barred Rock Chick

Okay, so, I just spent $441 saving this BR chick that will be 2 weeks tomorrow… that comb is coming suspiciously red. Is there a chance this chick is a pullet still? The wings looked right for autosexing and the white dot on its head was small. Tell me my fears are unfounded. LoL

That comb is way too red for that age so yes, a cockerel. Out of curiosity, can I see a full view of the side and top of the chick? The reason I ask is I'd like to see the dot on the back of head clearer and also the barring. If it's a pure Plymouth Barred Rock, it will have double white barring if it's male.

Yes, that's double white barring. Even if the comb wasn't red, this would be male specific coloring. Sorry you had to spend so much saving him....
