Barred Rock Chicks ?

I NEED HELP!!!
My daughter got 6 chicks as a bday gift. I'm unsure what I have. There are just over 7 weeks. The far left looks like a barred rock pullet(based on the build and the way it acts), the 2nd from left and very back look like black sex link pullets, the small one in front looks like an australorp (pullet or cockerel?), the 2 barred ones on the right end are much bigger and have distinct combs (barred rock or sex link?) I'm new to raising chickens, so these are just guesses I've come up with searching on here and other sites.

You are very good at guessing. I think you are right. The barred one in the middle looks like it has a beard. Can you confirm or deny? Also the one that's red/black looking.. hard to tell by the picture. I am not sure.

As chicks? Then she is a black sex link. With a little more red than I am used to Pretty girls.

She has a bare spot on the top or her head and one on her side

How long has it been since she went broody? That could be what caused the bare spots ; because they pull out their feathers to help them build a nest.

She has never been broody since I have had her and her feathers aren't making a nest or anything . I have just been gathering them every other day and putting them in the incubator .

When it gets hot this time of year a lot of birds will start their molt which would explain the bald spots.
Keep us updated on what your barred rocks are, are you going to try to get rid of some of the roo's while they are babies?

My son wants a black sex link, he loves the color.
How's their personality?
Barred Rocks are my favorite for personality, but I love the variety of egg color and patterns having a mixed flock.
I have lavender orpingtons in my incubator now, I've been wanting them forever!
