I have two 3 week old barred rocks that I got from the pullet bin from TS. One has the long tail feathers and the other doesn’t. I heard that if they develop their tails early on, they will be hens. What do you think of the one that doesn’t appear to have much of any? I know it’s still early. But I thought it might be indicative of it being a roo.

Thank you for your responses. I’ll post back when it’s bigger. Here’s a side view of the face:

Tails don't mean much however the one without a tail is a dude via stronger barring and a male head spot. Barred rocks can be sexed by head spot
It’s crazy that they can be sexed by head spot. I got both of them from a pullet bin at TS. I should have known better because we already ended up with a roo from there of a different breed. I know mistakes happen, but if head spots help tell them apart, it’s too bad I didn’t know or they didn’t catch it. We got these ones on a whim with the kids.

Pullets have a toupee, cockerels have a mullet, the employer have to go by the paperwork that is sent even its obviously wrong.
