Barred Rock eggs

My Barred Rock hen just started laying. She's a couple of weeks shy of her six month birthday. One thing that is strange is that her eggs are very light coloured. They are so light coloured that they are almost white. Creame/light tan would be the best way to describe them. Is it nomal for Barred Rocks to have such light coloured eggs?

Yes, I've heard of BR eggs being described as everything from white to different shades of brown. As she gets more experienced her egg colour may get darker.

I had 5 br's and each one layed a different shade of brown, one was really light just like yours.
