Barred Rock gender

This is a barred rock that Meyer tossed in without telling me. I'm rather annoyed; I only order 3 birds for a reason. Anyway, my angst aside, the usual coloring rules seem to indict boy. Supposed to be pullet, but we know how that goes. I don't have any experience with barred rocks, so I just don't know. I'm pretty sure one of the ee pullets is actually a cockeral as well :/ so make me feel a little better and tell me the spot is only 85% indicative and that I'm not seeing too much white in the feathering to be a pullet. 2 weeks old today. Legs seem pretty thick too, but I don't know if that's typical for BRs.

That barring looks 'probably' male. I've noticed that hatchery birds are getting less and less easy to sex by barring. Give it a little time.

That's what I was thinking. I'm hoping for breed non conforming

What color are the legs?

My cockerel had yellow skin with very light Grey stripes on his legs. My pullets have black legs

Legs are lighter, but with dark to them. They say boy too. Not a good pic!

I'm leaning toward cockerel.... but give it time to feather out more, it could very well be a pullet.

They seem a little bit too young to tell yet. in my experience you can sometimes tell when they are a day old but most of the time I wait till they are at least a few months old

At a day old, despite the large head spot, I thought pullet. I'm becoming less certain by the day. When do BR cockerals first start getting combs? Is it around 3 weeks?
