Barred rock gender?

There could be - if you have high quality Barred Rocks - they take a bit more time to sex correctly

But hatchery.. yeah.. it's pretty dependable. This is a girl.

I see what your saying but from the looks of this one, shes already got her feathers and by that time the roos are showing a much more developed crown and waddle... plus she is prob from a hatchery anyway...

I have this chick I am not willing to make a guess on. It's dark like a pullet, has wash down the legs, but the comb is bigger than the obvious girls, but is smaller than the obvious boys. Of course it is a very high quality bird, so I'm not ready to say anything just yet.. Even though I am leaning more towards roo :/ *sigh*
