She passed away this morning.

Below is a pic I took of her yesterday morning. She went down hill so fast!! What could it have been?? This is something I prepared myself for as a chicken owner but goodness...it sucks. She was my most playful energetic gal. She will be so missed.

You can refrigerate her body in a plastic bag, and send it to the state vet for a necropsy. You could also do a partial necropsy to look for egg binding, an obstruction in the crop, gizzard, or intestines, worms, or egg peritonitis. Sorry for your loss.
