Barred Rock Hen or Rooster

We totally thought this was one of our sweet rock hens but now people are saying she is a he. Even my older new "almost" layers are more interested in this one than the other Barred Rock. This is Princess and she/he is about 6-8 weeks old.

Here's a picture of our other Barred Rock. I'm pretty sure she is a hen. She has no waddles yet.

With a comb and wattles that large and red at 6-8 weeks, Princess is a cockerel. Sorry. (

Just wanted to update everyone that Princess turned out to be a HEN!! I had a friend who wanted a rooster and the day that he came to get Princess she started squatting! I think we were off on her age a couple of weeks. She's doing the major squatting thing and the egg song. I wasn't quite expecting that!!
