Barred Rock Hen or Rooster?

Hello from northern MI. We have 12 3 week old chicks, 5 which are Barred Plymouth Rocks. Question is, one BR stands out with lots of “zebra” stripes compared to the others, could this one be a rooster? We are brand new to raising chicks, so any insight is appreciated!

It could be. The barring pattern and lighter overall color suggest it's a cockerel. The head spot seems pretty clearly defined, though, so this could mean pullet. The spot doesn't look fuzzy as so many of the male spots do. I would give it a few weeks to be sure one way or the other.

I think its a cockerel as well. Give it some time to make sure, but I think cockerel.

I think it will be a pullet. Leg wash pretty dark for being so young. Still a lot of black on it. Know for sure in a couple weeks.
