Your white hens are White Rock. Leghorns have big combs, white earlobes and lay white eggs.Youir hens have red earlobes and will lay brown eggs.

Here is a pic I just took today. I don't know exactly where the earlobes are but are you sure? I got them from mypetchicken.com and white leghorn is what I ordered. I don't really care either way, but that would be weird lol

EDIT_ Okay just kidding. I googled it and I can see it now. Interesting...

i ordered chicks from Mypetchicken before. Loved the birds just wasnt what i wanted.

i ordered a Jersey Giant and got an astrolourp
ordered 2 andalusains and got 1 andalusain and 1 black pendensenca
ordered 8 pullets and 5 out of 8 were roos.

so hatcherys arnt perfect and make mistakes and MyPetChicken gets there chicks from hatcherys. my chicks came from McMurry even tho i ordered them from that sight.

Pretty birds u have tho

This is my first time raising chickens and have 6 of them, 2 of which are BR. One of them looks like a roo, but hasn't crowed yet. I'm not sure on the age, nor do the people I got it from, but I assume it's old enough to start trying to crow, but haven't heard a slight peep from it. Could it possibly be a hen?

I'm not an expert (less than a year ago I was asking the same questions!) but that tail definitely looks to be a rooster.

Nor am I an expert, beginner for sure, but I have two BR laying ladies myself and their tails do not look like that. They have shorter and stubbier tails if you will. Hope it helps! @DaBrownGirl and @MandiRock for sure Hens
