My 5 year old barred rock seems to be having some trouble recently. She’s a big girl and I suspect a rooster or a fall perhaps injured her awhile back. Maybe even a birth deformity? She always has a pretty obvious limp and walks slow and a little funny but other then that she is perfect and very healthy. Recently I’ve noticed she’s been more inactive then ever, laying around lots and not doing much, and I’m wondering if she’s in pain? Is there something I can give her long term or even just a short while.

A few things to note would be; she doesn’t lay anymore, I think it’s been well over a year since I last got an egg from her. I don’t have any roosters with my flock anymore.

I’ve had Bandi for a long time now and love her dearly (as the rest of my flock) and I hate seeing her all gloomy. Any help or suggestions would be amazing!

With her not laying eggs for over a year and the symptoms you describe she may have a reproductive disorder. EYP, cancer, tumors, Internal laying, Salpingitis, etc. can be common in laying hens.
Do you feel any bloat or fluid in her abdomen below the vent between the legs?
I would offer her supportive care - make sure she's drinking and eating, that her crop is emptying overnight, check for lice/mites, inspect the bottom of her feet for any bumblefoot.
