Barred rock or Californian grey?

I'm thinking this hen is a Californian grey but she could be a badly marked Plymouth rock or another similarly marked breed what do you guys think? I actually like her feathers its almost like weird lacing or something. Good thing she's a good layer since she's a cranky old biddy.

Does she have a rose comb?

no its kind of a wavy floppy straight comb, like how a leghorn hens flops over sometimes, but its small and thick, its a weird comb for sure.

She aint no barred rock, barred rocks are barred and she is laced.

What color eggs does she lay? Don't Cali Greys lay white eggs?

She lays a light brown egg.

Yes, California Grays do lay a white egg.

Oh, and Ramirezframing, now I see the lacing. I just enlarged the picture. Duh.

She's a mixed breed of some type. I do see some lacing there, but also some barring I think. Not unbelievable she had both parents.

I bought my California grey st TSC (rolling eyes) She lays a cream colored egg............Won't be buying any more chicks there
