Barred Rock or Cuckoo Marans?

From my Welp order, where the Marans don't have feathered feet.

I'd thought they were Marans, because their feet looked pink in their first few weeks. At 6 weeks now I'm not sure. The feet are not YELLOW like the red chick's boldly yellow feet. But I'm not sure they're pink.

I don't really care one way or another, because I'm probably not keeping them, but when I sell them I ought to label them accurately.

Yep. Looks like a barred rock.

I have a maran without feathered feed, and she's a little bit darker than that. You'll have to wait and see what color egg she lays to know for sure!

I *probably* won't keep them that long.

The only Rocks I actually want are the Silver-Penciled ones.

(Subject to change based on outstanding personality or other factors).

P.S. I wouldn't keep them as Marans either -- I like the French, feather-footed ones.

Yes my Cuckoo Marans at about this age had darker feet as well.
