Barred Rock or Dominquer?

. We know he is a rooster as he is starting to practice crowing but he looks completely different from the other 3 we have. We are thinking he is a barred rock but we are not 100 percent sure. Tia

Dominiques have a different comb.

Barred Rocks have the single comb your chicken has. As far as whether he is purebred I don't know.

A dominique's bars look more scrambled than the straight bars of a bar rock. I have had a Dom roo with a straight comb. Bar rocks are a little bit darker in color. These are my experiences with the 2 breeds
