Barred Rock or Marans x?

I hatched these two from two different sources. I assumed they were both Barred Rock x, but the larger one (blue leg band) has lightly feathered legs. Is she a Marans x?

Barred Plymouth Rocks have yellow legs. These are either crosses or Marans.

The bottom looks more like a silver cuckoo maran but the second one looks like a bared rock with the wrong leg color... I'm going to have to agree with little chicken, these look like crosses to me. Either that or they're poorly bred marans.

The one with more white in the feathers looks like my barred rock and the grayer ones look like marans.

They are both crosses - the question is with what. The larger one (blue leg band) came from an olive egg. Father was barred, but don't know the breed (don't know what he looked like as he was killed by a raccoon). The smaller one is a cross - I think her father was a BR x rooster (don't know about her mother - I hatched two eggs from those friends, one brown, one blue).

Is it possible the feathered legs (Marans) came from the mother?
