Yeah, from body shape I think he was from BR.

That's my guess as well, so Henri has progeny who will keep his line alive.. I thought also the sharpness of his barring might also have been a give away, but I'm still new to all of this.

I have a genetics question for those who are experts here. I have a young cockerel (23 weeks old) who is out of one of the black hens in the photo (minus the one with red leakage) and possibly by a Barred Rock, Black Sex Link, or Cockoo Marans. My guess he's from the Barred Rock because he inherited strong barring, whereas there was only a 50/50 chance with either of the other two.. What say you?

He is defiantly a barred rock the color and pattern of his feathers.
