I like them. I haven't had the best of luck with them and I usually like one in the mixed flock to make things unique.

Yes! I have a rooster and multiple hens that I love. Their my outdoor pets along with many other chickens.

Meh. I have a partridge rock, not a barred, and the breed seems hardy enough from what I've witnessed, I'm just not a fan of how popular the barreds are
