Barred Rock? Pullet or cockerel?

Hi all! I’m brand new to this and I’m looking for some info. I have a “mystery chick” that was hatched in a preschool class. It’s the only one that hatched. He/she is almost 3 weeks old, and I need to know if it’s a male or female, since we aren’t allowed to keep roosters where I live. Thank you for any insight!

Here's my Barred Rock pullet when she was around that age, maybe a week older. I feel like yours has a pretty significant comb but maybe it could still be a pullet. I'm not an expert just comparing pictures.

Any updated pictures? She looks to be a Cuckoo Marans here with those pink legs. Sometimes it takes a bit for leg color to develop but those are pretty darn pink
