UK Barred Rocks often seem to lack the distinctive yellow legs. I also seems to me that Barred Rocks in the UK have a different Standard and the birds there look tall and lanky to American eyes. Different country, different blood lines

As you can see with these Frank Reese, ringlets, the yellow comes later and may also come in later in that UK bird as well.
