Barred Rock Pullets (Pic)

O. K. This may seem like a question that's been asked over & over again but I guess I just need to ask it!!.

I bought 15 pullets (well that's what they sold them as) and believe it or not I'm actually pretty sure they all are. I've read all the post and checked out all the pics and I'm pretty sure but here's a close up of 2 of them. They all look like this!! I forgot to add they were 4 1/2 weeks old....

So, do you think their pullets???

i think they are most roosters will grow larger combs by that age...

The one to the left looks like a roo.

I agree that the one to the left, in your picture, looks like he/she might have a little extra comb development, possibly indicating a roo.

Here are a couple pics of my barred rock pullets at 5 weeks for comparison.

pullets xD i can tell from the barring
i have 3 barred rocks, i used to have 4 but she broke her neck when we where trying to get her up in the coop (we had hawk/raccoon issues over the summer)
you's will turn out very pretty

I just got a few barred rock chicks, and i'm pretty sure one is a roo. They are 6 weeks old

The one on the right is the roo, the left the pullet

Maybe the one on the left is a roo. Mine are just half barred rock chicks (other half is "mutt") so maybe they develop combs at a different rate, but here's a photo of them at 4 weeks for comparison. Hope it helps. You can see the three in a row (heading for the watermelon) are probably roos.
