Well, after a bit of reasearch...It seems my beautiful Barred Rock might actually be a handsome Maran Cuckoo.

could be....there is a thread on here that explains in detail the differences...we may have to wait a bit longer...but I still think its a roo,
the saddle feathers are too developed for a pullet
