Barred Rock Roos?

These are 4 of my Barred Rock chicks. They are 5 weeks old. I know it’s early but was curious if anyone could spot a hen amongst them. 2 of the five are very white. 2 more look to have more white than my last chick. So far I don’t see the wattle on any of them but the combs seem to be pinking up on a few.

Hard to see their comb. Do any get their tail and wing feathers at a young age?

I’m pretty sure I have better pictures but I have taken a lot. I need to organize them and see if I have better shots.

In the pic it looks like you have 3hen and 1 roo. Hope I'm right.

Do you have a pic of the combs for resently?

No but I will get some later this afternoon. It’s been much easier to tell the gender on my Buff Cochins. These Barred Rocks just keep us guessing and second guessing ourselves.

I am hoping I did that right and got a comb shot for all 5.

The combs aren't red or rounded so I'd say pullets. Love your pictures.

Barred Rocks are the best! My two hens are so friendly they are my (snuggle chickens)

I am loving this batch of chicks. They are super friendly and very curious.

This particular chick is so much fun to interact with. It loves my camera and is prone to photo bomb other pictures.
